I used to love nothing more than waking up early on a Saturday morning as a child. Saturday’s meant mom making breakfast and cartoons filling up the house for most of the morning. Something about knowing there was no school and if I wanted to, I could sit on the couch all day with no consequences. Freedom!
Unfortunately, we all grow up at some point in time and although I still like a good cartoon, Saturday’s plans have certainly changed since elementary school. Between yard work, laundry, grocery shopping, catching up on any work or chores from the week, and God forbid you have a social life or any true down time, how are you supposed to fit it all into 2 days?!
TGDS is a lifestyle. It’s an attitude and mindset you carry with you everyday. If you truly embrace the Grind, it’s possible to get more out of your precious weekend time. After all, it’s YOUR weekend, so you should get the most out of it!
Be present. Live in the moment. Remember your why. Embrace the journey as much as the destination.
